Who we are
Thank you for considering teaching at The Threshold Society. Since 1982, Threshold has been an organization dedicated to exploring BDSM & Kink. We proudly serve the greater Los Angeles area by offering a wide variety of events and education opportunities. We are a pansexual, non-profit (501.c), education-based, LGBTQIA+ friendly organization. Our mission is to empower people of all orientations, genders, races, religions, ethnicities, affiliations, and roles to explore BDSM/Kink in a safe, sane, informed, and consensual way.
Please complete this form and submit it for consideration. It will be used to collect general information to create a presenter file. Our Education Coordinator will reach out to you to discuss the next steps. The next steps include: Reviewing your information provided. Setting up a call with you, the presenter. That can take an average of 10 minutes. Next, we will reach out to your references. Upon all going well, we schedule a time for your class.

The Threshold Society is a community based and operated non-profit that solely depends on volunteers to keep our organization alive. Everyone who contributes to the every day success of Threshold is a volunteer, including our board and staff. As an organization, we want to support our educators and compensate them for their sharing time, energy, and knowledge. By volunteering or providing your services at a low rate, you will have a direct impact on keeping our organization alive so that we can continue to offer BDSM educational programming at affordable rates for all. Tipping our educators is strongly encouraged at every class. The sale of presenter merchandise is permissible, and reimbursement for approved travel is available.
